History of Sculpture Park
This location has long been decorated with stone sculptures and attractive water showers. These stone sculptures were produced by UPSI Faculty of Music and Performing Arts (FMSP) students as a group assignment. To the left and right of this area used to be the class building block and the administration block of Datuk Abdul Razak School (SDAR). The the Sculpture Park is now included in the “Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Historical Heritage Route”.
Lokasi ini telah lama dihiasi dengan arca batu dan pancuran air yang menarik. Arca batu ini dihasilkan oleh pelajar Fakulti Muzik dan Seni Persembahan (FMSP) UPSI sebagai tugasan berkumpulan. Di kiri dan kanan kawasan ini dahulunya adalah blok bangunan kelas dan blok pentadbiran Sekolah Datuk Abdul Razak (SDAR). Kini, Taman Arca termasuk dalam “Laluan Warisan Sejarah Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI)”.
