Notably, &#8216;Anjung 1&#8217; on the 2nd floor of the IPSI Building serves as a venue for faculty briefings and course registration sessions. The Faculty of Languages and Communication (FBK) is dedicated to advancing language studies and communication disciplines. The faculty offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs aimed at developing proficient language educators and communication specialists. FBK provides diverse programs in language and communication fields, including Bachelor of Education in various language specializations, Bachelor of Communication, and Master&#8217;s and Doctoral programs focusing on advanced research and specialization in language and communication studies.\u00a0<\/p><p>The faculty is equipped with modern facilities to support teaching and research, such as Broadcasting Studios for practical training in media and communication, Language Labs to enhance language learning and teaching methodologies, and Resource Centres providing access to a vast collection of academic materials and research tools. FBK actively engages in research across various language and communication disciplines. The faculty&#8217;s academic staff and researchers contribute to scholarly publications and participate in conferences, fostering a vibrant academic community. The faculty encourages student involvement in extracurricular activities to enhance their learning experience. UPSI yang ditubuhkan pada 1922 sebagai Sultan Idris Training College (SITC) telah melalui beberapa transformasi:<\/p><ul><li><p><strong>1957<\/strong>: Dinamakan Maktab Maktab Sultan Idris (MPSI).<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>1987<\/strong>: Dinaik taraf ke Institut Pendidikan Sultan Idris (IPSI).<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>1997<\/strong>: Mendapat status universiti sebagai Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>Bangunan IPSI juga menjadi tarikan pengunjung, dengan lokasi dan kepentingannya dipromosikan oleh Muzium Pendidikan Nasional.<\/p><p>Bangunan itu menempatkan pelbagai pejabat akademik dan pentadbiran termasuk Fakulti Bahasa dan Komunikasi (FBK). Terutamanya, &#8216;Anjung 1&#8217; di tingkat 2 Bangunan IPSI berfungsi sebagai tempat untuk taklimat fakulti dan sesi pendaftaran kursus. Fakulti Bahasa dan Komunikasi (FBK) berdedikasi untuk memajukan pengajian bahasa dan disiplin komunikasi. Fakulti menawarkan pelbagai program sarjana muda dan pascasiswazah yang bertujuan untuk membangunkan pendidik bahasa yang mahir dan pakar komunikasi. FBK menyediakan program yang pelbagai dalam bidang bahasa dan komunikasi, termasuk Ijazah Sarjana Muda Pendidikan dalam pelbagai pengkhususan bahasa, Ijazah Sarjana Muda Komunikasi, dan program Sarjana dan Kedoktoran yang memfokuskan kepada penyelidikan lanjutan dan pengkhususan dalam pengajian bahasa dan komunikasi.\u00a0<\/p><p>Fakulti dilengkapi dengan kemudahan moden untuk menyokong pengajaran dan penyelidikan, seperti Studio Penyiaran untuk latihan praktikal dalam media dan komunikasi, Makmal Bahasa untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran bahasa dan metodologi pengajaran, dan Pusat Sumber yang menyediakan akses kepada koleksi bahan akademik dan alat penyelidikan yang luas. . FBK terlibat secara aktif dalam penyelidikan merentasi pelbagai disiplin bahasa dan komunikasi. Kakitangan akademik dan penyelidik fakulti menyumbang kepada penerbitan ilmiah dan mengambil bahagian dalam persidangan, memupuk komuniti akademik yang bertenaga.
