An allocation of RM18,000.00 was used to build this building and it became a khutub Khanah (library) after being moved from a room on the top floor of the Suluh Budiman Building. Two parts in this building are known as &#8216;Bilik Dussek&#8217; and &#8216;Bilik Khir&#8217; which house reading books and magazines. In 1985, the library moved to the SDAR dining hall building. The Kutub Khanah building is now included in the \u201cUniversiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Historical Heritage Route&#8221;.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cc73aba e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"cc73aba\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;content_width&quot;:&quot;boxed&quot;}\" data-core-v316-plus=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53a2667 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"53a2667\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Bangunan Kutub Khanah Maktab Perguruan Sultan Idris atau Perpustakaan MPSI telah dirasmikan pada 10 Disember 1959 oleh YB Encik Md Khir bin Johari, Menteri Pendidikan Malaysia. Peruntukan sebanyak RM18,000.00 telah digunakan untuk membina bangunan ini dan ia menjadi khutub Khanah (perpustakaan) setelah dipindahkan dari sebuah bilik di tingkat atas Bangunan Suluh Budiman. Dua bahagian dalam bangunan ini dikenali sebagai &#8216;Bilik Dussek&#8217; dan &#8216;Bilik Khir&#8217; yang menempatkan bacaan buku dan majalah. Pada tahun 1985, perpustakaan berpindah ke bangunan dewan makan SDAR. Kini, Bangunan Kutub Khanah termasuk dalam \u201cLaluan Warisan Sejarah Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
