This building, located at the Sultan Abdul Jalil Shah Campus in Tanjong Malim, has a rich history tied to the establishment of Malaysia\u2019s oldest teacher education institution. Constructed between 1919 and 1922, the building served as the main administrative and academic block of the Sultan Idris Training College (SITC), which later became UPSI. The structure is renowned for its Dutch-Gothic architectural influences, reminiscent of historical European buildings like the Notre-Dame in France and Salisbury in England. The design was overseen by Kesteven, an architect of the Federated Malay States. During the Japanese occupation in World War II, the building was repurposed as a headquarters and hospital by the Imperial Japanese Army.<\/p><p>Built using high-quality load-bearing brick walls, with floors made of wood and cement. Decorative patterned glass and pebbled outer walls highlight its aesthetic appeal. The building forms an &#8220;H&#8221; shape with two wings, containing classrooms, administrative offices, and a main hall. This building has a floor area of 3,239 cubic meters. The upper floor of this building was once used as the SITC administrative centre which housed the principal&#8217;s office, staff office, meeting room, general office, composition office and library. The lower part of this building consists of classrooms and the main hall which is used for monthly assemblies or official college ceremonies.<\/p><p>On 14<sup>th<\/sup> February 2009, the building was gazetted under the National Heritage Act, recognizing its historical and architectural significance. On 19<sup>th<\/sup> July 2011, the building was officially reopened as the National Education Museum, which was officiated by Her Majesty the Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Bainun. The museum features 20 exhibition spaces and a themed galleries display artifacts, documents, and materials related to Malaysian education history including artifacts from the SITC era and beyond. Bangunan ini, terletak di Kampus Sultan Abdul Jalil Shah di Tanjong Malim, mempunyai sejarah yang kaya dengan penubuhan institusi pendidikan guru tertua di Malaysia. Dibina antara 1919 dan 1922, bangunan itu berfungsi sebagai blok pentadbiran dan akademik utama Sultan Idris Training College (SITC), yang kemudiannya menjadi UPSI. Struktur ini terkenal dengan pengaruh seni bina Belanda-Gothic, mengingatkan bangunan bersejarah Eropah seperti Notre-Dame di Perancis dan Salisbury di England. Reka bentuk itu diselia oleh Kesteven, seorang arkitek Negeri-Negeri Melayu Bersekutu. Semasa pendudukan Jepun dalam Perang Dunia II, bangunan itu telah digunakan semula sebagai ibu pejabat dan hospital oleh tentera Empayar Jepun.<\/p><p>Dibina menggunakan dinding bata tahan beban berkualiti tinggi, dengan lantai diperbuat daripada kayu dan simen. Kaca bercorak hiasan dan dinding luar berbatu menyerlahkan daya tarikan estetiknya. Bangunan itu membentuk bentuk &#8220;H&#8221; dengan dua sayap, yang mengandungi bilik darjah, pejabat pentadbiran, dan dewan utama. Bangunan ini mempunyai keluasan lantai 3,239 meter padu. Tingkat atas bangunan ini pernah digunakan sebagai pusat pentadbiran SITC yang menempatkan pejabat pengetua, pejabat kakitangan, bilik mesyuarat, pejabat am, pejabat gubahan dan perpustakaan. Bahagian bawah bangunan ini terdiri daripada bilik darjah dan dewan utama yang digunakan untuk perhimpunan bulanan atau majlis rasmi kolej.<\/p><p>Pada 14 Februari 2009, bangunan itu telah diwartakan di bawah Akta Warisan Kebangsaan, mengiktiraf kepentingan sejarah dan seni binanya. Pada 19 Julai 2011, bangunan tersebut telah dibuka semula secara rasmi sebagai Muzium Pendidikan Nasional, yang telah dirasmikan oleh Duli Yang Maha Mulia Raja Permaisuri Perak, Tuanku Bainun. Muzium ini menampilkan 20 ruang pameran dan galeri bertema memaparkan artifak, dokumen dan bahan yang berkaitan dengan sejarah pendidikan Malaysia termasuk artifak dari era SITC dan seterusnya. Bangunan Suluh Budiman yang kini Muzium Pendidikan Nasional\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: 'Times New Roman', sans-serif; background-color: transparent;\">termasuk dalam
