Located in Tanjong Malim, Perak, this house served as Za&#8217;ba&#8217;s residence while he worked as a translator and author at the Sultan Idris Training College (SITC) Publisher&#8217;s Office between 1924 and 1939. It has since been transformed into a living museum under UPSI\u2019s National Education Museum management. The museum showcases Za&#8217;ba&#8217;s contributions to Malay literature and intellectual history through displays of his works, collections, photographs, and writings. Visitors can explore his role in the cultural and educational development of the Malay community during his tenure at SITC. The house represents an effort to preserve and honour his legacy as a key figure in the modernization of the Malay language and education system.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: transparent;\">Initially converted into the Za&#8217;ba Gallery in 2002 and later in 2010 used as a security post, it was eventually restored as a heritage museum, providing insights into the socio-educational landscape of the early 20th century. The house retains its original design, offering a glimpse into early 20th-century colonial Malay architecture. Its restoration was undertaken with careful attention to historical accuracy, reflecting the era Za&#8217;ba lived and worked in. The museum features personal artifacts, manuscripts, and books authored or translated by Za&#8217;ba. These exhibits provide insights into his contributions to language standardization, literature, and educational reform. Pendeta Za&#8217;ba is celebrated for modernizing Malay grammar and contributing to the standardization of the Malay language, which played a crucial role in nation-building during the pre-independence era. Terletak di Tanjong Malim, Perak, rumah ini berfungsi sebagai kediaman Za&#8217;ba semasa beliau bekerja sebagai penterjemah dan pengarang di Pejabat Penerbit Sultan Idris Training College (SITC) antara 1924 dan 1939. Sejak itu ia telah berubah menjadi muzium hidup di bawah UPSI. Pengurusan Muzium Pendidikan Negara. Muzium ini mempamerkan sumbangan Za&#8217;ba kepada kesusasteraan Melayu dan sejarah intelektual melalui paparan karya, koleksi, gambar dan tulisannya. Pengunjung boleh meneroka peranan beliau dalam pembangunan budaya dan pendidikan masyarakat Melayu sepanjang berkhidmat di SITC. Rumah itu melambangkan usaha untuk memelihara dan menghormati legasi beliau sebagai tokoh penting dalam pemodenan bahasa Melayu dan sistem pendidikan.<\/p><p>Pada mulanya ditukar menjadi Galeri Za&#8217;ba pada tahun 2002 dan kemudian pada tahun 2010 digunakan sebagai pos keselamatan, ia akhirnya dipulihkan sebagai muzium warisan, memberikan pandangan tentang landskap sosio-pendidikan pada awal abad ke-20. Rumah itu mengekalkan reka bentuk asalnya, menawarkan gambaran seni bina Melayu kolonial awal abad ke-20. Pemulihannya telah dilakukan dengan perhatian yang teliti terhadap ketepatan sejarah, mencerminkan zaman Za&#8217;ba hidup dan bekerja di dalamnya. Muzium ini menampilkan artifak peribadi, manuskrip, dan buku yang dikarang atau diterjemahkan oleh Za&#8217;ba. Pameran ini memberikan pandangan tentang sumbangannya kepada penyeragaman bahasa, kesusasteraan, dan pembaharuan pendidikan.
