Objective
The objectives of the library are to:
- Identify, collect, store, manage and make available relevant, quality and up-to-date sources of information to support university’s programs;
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive collection in the field of education in line with the library’s mission;
- Provide various information and communication technology facilities in step with current advances and user needs;
- Assist and enhance library skills among library users in searching, accessing and acquiring accurate information;
- Generate competent human resource in every area of knowledge and related activities.
Tuanku Bainun Library is committed to provide accurate, fast and efficient user-friendly services in line with university’s academic objective. This is achieved through a continuous quality assurance process which takes into consideration the needs of all library clients and general community.
We promise to ensure that:
- Feedback to the Complainant must be made within one (1) working day to inform that their complaints have been noted and will be resolved.
- Library materials will be processed, catalogued and made available for clients’ reference within one (1) month.
- Articles requested through reference and consultation services will be delivered to clients within three (3) working days for the first ten (10) articles.
- Access to the library portal is provided 24/7 to clients.
- Response to the complaint must be made within one (1) working day.
Client Charter Achievement
Ensure that 100% of procurement materials are processed and forwarded to BPPK within 30 working days.
Ensure that 100% reading list and research reference materials suggested by faculty are available at the library based on market availability.
- Ensure that 100% of library staff are able to achieve the minimum CPD points based on the service group.
